



Gayle Mickey
is a former Homeownership Program Manager at a non-profit HUD Certified
Housing Agency, now co-owner of Get Smart Mortgage Resolutions, LLC.
Her
extensive experience in the banking industry and as a small business
owner coupled with being a Certified Housing Counselor enables her to
carry out her passion of empowering through information and education.
As
a Certified Foreclosure Intervention Specialist/Housing Counselor;
Gayle provided education and counseling for homeowners facing
foreclosure, first time homebuyers, and those seeking a Reverse
Mortgage.
One
of Gayle’s noted accomplishment was, as a Business Consultant, she was
instrumental getting her non-profit recognized by Oprah Winfrey and was
a recipient of Oprah’s Angel Network and attending her show as a guest.
Gayle
currently volunteers with faith based organizations teaching financial
literacy, life long planning, youth on the college track, credit
restoration and home-buying seminars.
Gayle holds a B.S. in Business Administration.
Gayle has played an integral role, and has been instrumental in implementing new non profit programs and funding. She has advised and collaborated with the Governor’s office, State Housing Department and the local HUD office with implementation of services and new resources made available for Arizona homeowners.
Glenda Sher is
co-owner of Get Smart Mortgage Resolutions. LLC.
The company was formed out of her passion to teach and educate. As a former Housing Counselor and Certified
Foreclosure
Intervention Specialist with a non-profit housing agency
approved by HUD, she also performed counseling to seniors
seeking information and understanding Reverse Mortgages.
She
has a B.S. degree in Human Services from California
State University. In her role as Counselor,
Glenda provided counseling and education to First-time home buyers and
homeowners facing foreclosure. She worked with homeowners and negotiated with 100's of lenders to assist homeowners with options to save their homes.
Glenda is also a Licensed
Realtor in Arizona and worked with investors purchasing and rehabbing
homes. She also was a loan officer. Before moving to Arizona, Glenda was a
licensed loan officer in California.
After completing her degree she worked as a Mental Health Counselor and then as a Director of Programs for many years.
